This selection of Andrea’s handmade heavy-duty case-weight papers was originally developed for Barbara Korbel, a book binder and weaver who also worked for 34-years as a book conservator at the Newberry Library and Art Institute of Chicago.  

Though designed to be used as book cover material, it also works well as a substantial substrate for all kinds of artistic applications, from drawing to printmaking. Beautiful and durable, these case papers come in two varieties that are available in a small but versatile palette of colors. One line consists of a flax/cotton blend, and the other line of larger papers is 100% cotton denim. All case papers are internally sized, and range in thickness from 0.01-0.014 inches.

23x31 inches: 100% denim, internally sized. $20/sheet - Blue Denim, Forest Denim, Amethyst Denim (color may vary slightly from batch to batch)
