Shipping & Handling Charges

Your shipping fee may be over charged - Shipping costs are based on weight and size of the items in each order. Because of the limitations of the website's shipping calculator, some order combinations can cause excessive charges. Once the order is fulfilled and actual charges are tallied, the excess fees are refunded.

Large orders
When ordering many supplies, like placing large class or workshop orders, it might be easier to contact me by email so as to avoid excessive shipping charges. If you anticipate such an order, just email a list of the items you want to order, their quantities, and your address. I will send you an invoice which will also allow online payment.

International Orders

Colophon does ship internationally, but currently all orders are done by invoice. Please email me with the list of items (including quantities) you would like to order as well as your address. An invoice will be sent and payments can be made with a credit card or through PayPal.

Damaged Packages

In the event that something arrives damaged, please keep the damaged goods AND packaging and contact me right away.

Reusing Supplies

Efforts are made to reduce the amount of waste in the shipping process by reusing materials, like clean newspaper, bubble wrap, and boxes whenever possible. Materials are chosen so that the contents arrive safely.
